How do I refund buyer if funds were held

Sold a watch, the buyer wanted to return it, I accepted the return but eBay withheld funds... I recently sold another item and eBay deducted the held funds from my payment. How am I going to pay the refund to the first buyer if eBay deducted the funds?

Am I missing something here? Am I losing the withheld funds? where do I get the money to refund the first buyer? I asked eBay but they really didn't explain it very well so I'd like to hear from our community.

Your refund to buyer will come out of your exsiting funds or pending payments. It will show as a negative balance but will straighten out when the hold is lifted.

When there is a case opened, they'll put your available funds on hold to cover the refund and it doesn't which sale the funds are from.

Because it was PENDING FUNDS.

I did accept the return and waiting for the item to be sent back...my payment that they sent me when sold must be in eBay limbo waiting to be returned to the buyer 🙂

eBay refunds from the pending funds, all but .30 and that .30 will be taken from the method you attached to pay seller fees.

if you accepted the return then all is fine

nothing is happening to your payment while the watch is coming back,its just being held

when the item comes back and you hit refund then ebay tells you exactly where that money is coming from

most of the time for me when I hit refund after a return it comes out of my bank the next morning.

if you have enough funds in ebay at the right moment then it would come from there

If the refund money is on hold, why did they deduct it from my previous sale? Do I get that sale money back?
