I need your help.
I bought something on 26 December 2023, from USA. I am from Europe. I received the parcel on 11 of January 2024 but in that parcel it wasn't what I ordered.
The seller told me that there was an error and he sent me in the same time two parcels, and both of them have the same tracking number. Until now, I did not receive another parcel. Of course I did not believe what he said.
Anyway, I asked Ebay to solve the issue. Ebay opened a return case - I printed the label from Ebay form and, by mistake, I closed the form opened by Ebay.
I sent the parcel back to the seller, by DHL, with tracking number. I sent the parcel with the label printed from Ebay return form. I did not pay anything for DHL, thanks to that Ebay label.
I also sent an email to Ebay with the tracking number for DHL parcel and I explained them that I closed the form by mistake. I told them to check my Ebay emails between me and the seller, to see that I am right.
I asked Ebay many times to help me, but Ebay said that "I see that you voluntarily closed this return request before contacting our support team, and without returning the order. If a buyer voluntarily closes a claim, it removes the eBay Money Back Guarantee coverages for that order. Once a claim is closed, eBay is not able to re-open it, and no refund is available. At this point, eBay is not able to take further action for this return."
Moreover, I gave to the seller a negative rating and I see that it does not appear on his Ebay page!
Now, I did not receive what I ordered and paid for; I returned to the seller the parcel and I lost my money.
What should I do?

If you paid with Paypal, or your cc, you can still open a case with them, you have six months. You cant reopen the case with Ebay.The feedback was removed because you lost the case.

I paid with my credit card (Raiffeisen), through Ebay. How could I open a case, in this situation?

Hi @unamonu2012
Deal directly with your credit card company … preferably by phone. Call the phone number on the back of the card and ask to speak with the Fraud Department. Explain what happened and request a chargeback.
Hold on to whatever information you have as far as DHL pickup and tracking numbers.
Don’t bother trying to deal with eBay on this. It no longer is appropriate. Your CC company will help you.
