Return

I purchased parts for my car , when they came I realized I had purchased the wrong item. I started a return and was sent a single label when I have two boxes to return. There is no way to contact E-Bay about this issue and I am to the point where I will no longer use E-Bay for anything!

What is the size and weight of each box? Wondering if it's possible to merge into one box and still be within size/weight limits of return service.

If not, you may need to contact eBay's CS reps on social media to ask for a resolution. Send a DM to one of eBay's social CS teams: ebayforbusiness on facebook, askebay on X

If you have a box both will fit just ship as one package.   Most of the time a return label is accepted for any package size and weight in reason.  Now if it's too heavy to lift they might balk at taking it.

Unless it's free return shipping, this is a remorse return @raybigbear60 you are already paying for the cost of return shipping.

So just use the single reduced-rate label for the costlier return, for which you will be billed. And pay yourself for the other return label at retail or online rates, e.g. here. Simply copy the info you'll need from the first label.

Otherwise return one box now, and tell the seller you still need another free return label if they want it back.

That's a good point. When I posted earlier I was thinking Guaranteed Fit program where eBay foots the bill on doesn't fit returns. But doesn't fit is not the same as buyer purchasing the wrong item. I guess we'd need more details on what type of return @raybigbear60 filed and what reason they selected to know for sure what's happening here.

I've already done that, thanks for your input.

Return

Purchased parts for my car, I did this after entering my car. I didn't feel I need to check when I had entered my vehicle but with some parts crossing over from another car in the Chevy lineup they include parts for both vehicles. I ordered them from a site that just includes parts for each car, better safe then sorry!

They are brake drums, shoes, rotors and pads. Someone someplace would hate me if I included them all in one package.

Thanks everyone I worked with E-Bay because I never heard from the seller. They gave me a full refund, I was very surprised and will continue using E-Bay.
