Don't understand

This is turning into a war between buyers and sellers Since when do they allow sellers to close a case. Why would they allow it then ebay can't do a thorough investigation. My second case had I not had proof that I sent it back I would've lost the item and my money what in the world is ebay doing out here

A seller cannot close a case, only Ebay can do that. Buyers returning items, have always been required to show tracking to prove the item was returned to the seller before they are issued a refund.
