I have this buyer that is trying to claim a refund on a brand new item/factory sealed. When they opened the item they are claiming a completely different item when the item was brand new factory sealed. Do I have Ebay step in to resolve?

You items are rather high end.
No returns does not mean no returns as you should know.
If the claim is opened...I would ask buyer to return it for a refund.
Not as described means you pay for return shipping
Emails and any photos taken will not matter in a claim usually.
And doing emails back and forth only makes the buyer more upset...thus there's always that feedback to think about.
Doing nothing and let eBay handle it means eBay will refund them and buyer keeps item since you have "no returns".
Buyer might know the ins and outs of refunds. Of course, block the buyer and check their feedback to other sellers to get some idea as to is it an honest buyer or an honest mistake. I have made some mistakes mailing items out.

Did eBay see you sent a factory sealed item ?
Does eBay have any idea what you sent ?
Does eBay know what the buyer received ?
Asking eBay to step in isn't going to help you.
