Looking for advice....i have a crazy buyer. Made me a super low offer, I made the mistake of accepting - at the time I did not accept returns, but they requested a return (but ironically they were having computer trouble, so could not upload pictures of the alleged damage to the shirt). Regardless, I went ahead and accepted the return because...what else can i do?
Received it today and it's a totally different item.
So i replied to the return request saying this "different item" and included pictures (they even included what looked like a receipt, maybe switched the return?) and submitted. Now they are sending me crazy messages in all caps with multiple exclamation marks, and saying that they are going to call eBay?
I know i have done less than nothing wrong here - ethically speaking. However, in the land of eBay - is there something I should do to protect myself? I know it's a buyer's world.
Thanks in advance...

Buyer knows the ropes, report the buyer but your going to be stuck refunding. You can appeal it I think but then you lose your fees and be charged $20 for eBay "investigating", hopefully someone can offer a bit more info. You can file a police report and that will likely win your appeal which would probably be a courtesy refund while the buyer still gets the refund and probably does it again.... Definitely change your no refunds policy if you still have it , that seems to be a magnet for this type of activity!
