Ebay will side with the buyer AI or not. Just take the return and keep going.

Buyer doesn't have to prove it, they just have to say it.

There is absolutely no eBay requirement that a buyer prove their claim when/if an item not as described case is opened.  They aren't even required to contact the seller first.

There is no requirement to provide any kind of proof before a return.   Over fifteen years ago buyers were required to get a letter on letterhead from an expert on the item that it was not as described.  In many cases  a buyer could not find such a person.

So today it's   If a buyer says SNAD, the seller is gonna be sad.
