I need to return a couple of books (which weigh a litle over 1 pound together), and and since the policy is that the buyer pays the return postage. So I downloaded the shipping label and looked at it. It turns out it is Prioirty Mail. Does it means I would be charged around 8 dollars for it? What if I buy my own shipping label elsewhere using Media Mail which would be less than 4 dollars and upload the tracking number to ebay. If so, would I still be charged the Priority Mail postage even if I never use that ebay label?

You won't be charged for the label if you don't use it.

Why are you returning the books?

Have you finished reading the books yet, and what are their titles?

Just a couple of cookbooks that I thought I were looking for, but after a quick look through them, I realized they weren't the right books (as I told the seller, it was my bad).

Are you implying I'm trying to pull off a scam? LOL.
No, as I mentioned in another reply, the books weren't what I thought they were -- I haven't read them or anything. The issue is that I didn't want to $8 for postage for a shipment that could be sent cheaper via Media Mail for less than $4.

If this was a return scam, the buyer would select not as described and get free return shipping too! I think this is an honest return.
