I purchased a Garmin 7" GPS (as advertised on EBAY.) The GPS I received was not a GARMIN!! I received a Meditek GPS piece of JUNK at a cost of $105.00. Elsewhere !! that Meditek can be purchased for $39.00. When I order a GARMIN, I expect to receive a GARMIN, Not any other brand piece of JUNK!! Now the seller wants me to return it to a KOHLS store. The local KOHLS is closed and the nearest is 15 miles away. I called that KOHLS store and was told they do not accept EBAY returns only Amazon returns. This is the second time this has happened to me in 2 months. The identical situation.
The seller is

You dont return it to Kohls..you return it to the seller you bought it from, did you open a case?

What the seller wants is irrelevant, open an item not as described case and send it back.
He might have had the item drop shipped through Amazon, you can take their returns to any Kohl's.

If you will open an item not as described case, the seller is required to send you a prepaid shipping label.
You use that label (whatever the address is) to ship the item back to the seller.

this is easy to clear up with a not as described case
there is no need to call ebay but you should read up on the MBG
as long as you make the correct choices with the return you shoud be fine
heres a tip....you do not need to deal with the buyer. you can just communicate with the ebay return system and leave the seller out of the loop.you do not need his permission or approval for a return

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

It sounds like you've never read eBay's Money Back Guarantee ... as it tells you exactly what to do when a seller fails to cooperate in a request request, as your seller is doing.
FYI: It is too late to file a return for the item problematic item you received two months ago ... BUT you can still file a case with PayPal, which allows 180 days from date of purchase to file.
Open the PP case from the following link to get your return shipping reimbursed:
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns
BE SURE to 'escalate' the PP dispute after 7 days so that it doesn't time out on you.

Check this out, this Seller is buying from Amazon and selling on eBay. That's the reason for mess up, Seller thought; you're an Amazon customer
Open an INAD( Item Not As Described) case, get a shipping label and you're all done. You've 30 days
