Hey everyone! Get your questions ready for the open Q & A monthly chat here on December 13th at 1:00pm PST. We look forward to chatting with you.
Thanks for joining us for the Monthly Chat with the eBay Community team.
The chat thread will remain open until 2 PM PT at which point we'll close it from additional responses. After that time, we'll continue to work on responding to any queries that might still be unanswered.
To post your question, click Reply in the lower right corner of this post, type your question, and hit submit between 1-2 PM Pacific Time. The format of our chat mirrors the format of our Community Discussion Boards, where each post will appear in the thread chronologically. The Community Team will review each question as it comes in, and will quote the original question in our reply. This quote and the reply will appear later in the thread, so just keep scrolling down to see our answers.
As a reminder, we want to be able to get to as many members as possible during the allotted hour, so we have a few things to ask of you:
- Keep on topic
- Scroll through the list of questions to see what has already been asked to decrease chances of redundancy
- Keep the message/question simple and no more than one to two items. If you include multiple questions in a post, please be aware that they may not be addressed during the chat and (specialist name) will do their best to follow-up with it after the chat has closed
Missed the chat? Send your questions to the podcast by calling 888-723-4630 or email us at podcast@ebay.com and maybe your questions will make it on the air! Or listen to past episodes while you wait for next month!”

When is the EIS uissue of no UK being listed in countries to ship to? Been missing for move than a month now. It is not checked off in my policies as a country to not ship to.
Hey @sasase! Items that are visible to buyers in the UK need to comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations. This is why we have put measures in place to prevent US items that likely do not comply with UK regulations such as CE Certification and/or Plugs & Sockets Regulations from being visible to buyers in the UK.

Why do you allow a dispute from a bank on a credit card from March 2023 sale ? It is a "friendly fraud".
Buyer no longer a registered user and has been identified by another seller I talked to as doing 5 disputes on eBay as well. US law allows 120 days for a dispute from a credit card. This 240 days for a dispute from a credit card.

Hi @12345jamesstamps. This is actually based off the bank that the buyer uses. If the financial institution allows longer, than we will receive that dispute no matter what. Please reach out to our dispute team here to see your options.

Using a PC there's a volume discount bug when editing or creating a listing. If you set it to have just 1 level of discount, then add or change the promoted listing amount it automatically turns all levels of volume discount back on to the default of 10-15-20%. Doesn't happen every time, maybe 3-5x out of doing 10 listings.

Hey @sasase we don't see any active site bugs that match this, but we certainly want to address this. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Service to start a ticket for this.

Hey @maxoptical. Thanks for letting us know about this. Do you have the current app version downloaded? If you do, we'll be sure to get this to our mobile apps team so they are aware.

I have a customer who order five items, on receipt the buyer opened a remorse return. I have 60 day free returns. I had combined all five items and shipped in one box. How do I combine the returns into a single shipment?

It would be nice to know what those categories are. So when a buyer overseas asks why they can't order something we don't waste time trying to fix something not in the sellers control.
