Hello eBay,

 

I have been fighting an issue for a year now with no resolve.  I was in the eBay guaranteed delivery program up to the time the program was cancelled.    eBay is now giving me Late Shipment defects based on the cancelled eBay guaranteed delivery program.  I am in the very high for late shipments due to these false defects.  How can I be opted out of the eGD program to prevent future defects and how can I get all of the false defect removed that my account recieved over the last year?  

 

I have over 30 phone calls to support over this issue with no resolve.

 

This is a clear eBay programming issue that is causing me to be downgraded in cassini search.

I need your help to resolve this issue.

Hello,

When i am making a search for many of my items, lets say

 

Cyprus Coins Set 1977

nothing appears but i have 2 listings with those words

 

same goes for the item

Pansoap cosmetics 3x donkey milk natural soap

even if i use all the title of the listing nothing appears

02875 pansoap cosmetics 3x donkey milk natural soap 360g dermatologically tested

 

my question is because my traffic is also very low and my sales are 40% low

is ebay ghosting my listings and store?

(i have knowledge about web development and algorithms and i know it can be done)

if ebay is not ghosting my listings and store why then is happening?

@my-cottage-books-and-antiques do you have the newest version of the app? Maybe try to uninstall and reinstall it. I see it showing on my end too! Once you have the newest version downloaded can you send me a screenshot of your search screen and I can reach out to the right team to see what's going on. Thanks!

What is the appropriate way to handle this situation?

 

I ordered 100 of something.  It comes in bundles of 25.  Two bundles will fit in a larger box...

So in theory I should receive either 4 boxes  or 2 of the larger boxes with 50 in each.  I have been purchasing this item periodically over the last 2 - 3 years.

 

I received 2 boxes.  but they are boxes of 25.  So I have received 50 - 1/2 of my order.

 

I have contacted the seller who's response was "You were shipped 2 boxes, tracking shows they were delivered.  You got your order".   I replied back with copies of the shipping label showing the weight was not for boxes of 50 but instead for boxes of 25.  I am still waiting for their response.

 

Next step?  File a chase?  What type of case - certainly not "item not received" because eBay will automatically close it when the seller enters the tracking?  This is a totally new area to me in 20+ years of eBay.

tyler@ebay Yes, I'm seeing it in listings made from scratch (I use Six Bit, don't know if that makes a difference). Maybe you could look at one of my newest listings....perhaps buyers aren't seeing it on their end?

 

As to the video tutorial, I'm personally pretty good with store home page and about page , it's revising or setting up my existing store categories where I'm unclear.  If I were starting with a brand new store and zero listings, I think it wouldn't be too hard to manage, but I have a lot of existing categories and over 700 listings....and I'm just not sure how to go about changing them.

Sorry to hear this happened @postcardcountry please know you're still protected! You can open a return for missing parts or pieces and we can go from there. If the seller doesn't work with you, you can escalate the case to us after the 3rd day!

Hi @maxoptical - since Guaranteed Delivery is no longer a service being offered, your buyers are not being shown that as an option, and you should not be being held to the eGD standards as that program does not exist. 

 

I cannot provide you account specific customer support, but I will make sure that your contacts to CS are reviewed and that appropriate action is being taken.

When will ebay allow Standard Envelope Tracking to be available for Stickers?

We ship thousands of stickers per year and cant offer tracking since most stickers we sell are around $2.50 and buyer's will not pay for first class tracking for that low cost of an item tried many times so we have to ship by stamp and to being able to offer Ebay standard envelope would help us alot. The category we use alot is in Video games & consoles under Faceplate,Decals &  stickers but any sticker seller in other category would help alot for seller and buyers to have this feature.

jasmen@ebay I juet uninstalled/reinstalled Android app - no image search.

I can't get much of an answer on questions I have about timeline of the Void Label process.  I don't understand why the turnaround time for refund to eventually show up in my funds using MP is now slower than pre-MP/PayPal era.

Neither eBay or USPS Customer Support are knowledgeable about the way the two interface. There has got to be people that know answers to how the two interact.

I would think as soon as a "Void Label" request happens on eBay, the Tracking number should be rendered unusable.

Why is it 3 weeks for refund? If a shipment with correct label is delivered, and order even has rec'd feedback, can't MP let me have the charge refunded within 24 hours of buyer receiving order? eBay has the humongous bank vault of all the payments. What is the point in holding seller's $ excessively long.

I only Void labels if at last minute during preparing a shipment, the final weight of whole package ends up heavier than what I expected when I printed label. Or when I swap a Priority Flat rate , or PM by wgt, or Regional Rate for another of those 3 services depending on factors that make some orders have same delivery time but varying prices.

I agree I should not be held to the standards of eGD program but I am.  I have exhausted all avenues for support with no resolution. Over a year of trying to get this fixed.   I don't want to have these defects being applied to my account for a program that no longer exists.  My exposure is being limited due to these false defects.

 

How can I get this resolved?

Unless things have improved recently, when you file a claim, you can only attach one document.  So create your own MS Word Doc or PDF.  Copy and paste whatever evidence you have into the document.  Even your explanation as to what happened.  But definitely the info about the weights is extremely important to get on record.  Copy in emails too if they are of importance.  Once you are satisfied you have covered everything, attach it to the claim.

I am however really sorry that a seller would treat a Repeat customer such as yourself like this.  Clearly they don't value you in the way you should be.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE my repeat customers.  You should have experienced that in this matter.  Believe me their are other sellers that would value you the way you should be.

The winkle to the problem - this was purchased with an eBay store coupon.  There really is no way to give me a refund.  I just want to force them to ship me what I ordered.
