Is there any update on Washington DC Marketplace Facilitator Sales Tax which was supposed to go into effect April 1st? We have had a few orders to DC already this month and I have confirmed eBay did not collect the sales tax.
Hi @autopiacarcare, no update to provide to you at this time. I'm working with the appropriate teams as we've discussed and will get you more information as soon as it becomes available.

What happened yesterday, many of us sellers had all of our promoted listing data at zero for 16 hours yesterday? Also, these chats shouldn't be at the exact same time as Ebay for Business Facebook Live.

Hi @maxoptical - thanks for letting us know. We've received reports of the dashboard not updating and tech has reviewed it and replied that the dashboard is meant to update every 24 hours and it can take up to 4 days for all data to upload.
However, in all of the situations reviewed the promoted listings were received traffic, it just has not yet updated.
Thanks for your feedback on the scheduling, we'll pass it on to Alan!

@mam98031 wrote:Going to 31 days does not solve the problem completely. Not all months are 31 days either. To resolve the issue completely it must move to no more than once per calendar month.
Keeping the billing cycle based on calendar months and changing the GTC listing cycle to 31 days would accomplish exactly that.
It would push out a duplicate month by a great deal, but eventually there will be a duplicate month especially for thing originally posted in February. If the goal is to never have to deal with this issue again, a renewal fee of once per month is the best way IMHO to go.
For those of us that have used GTC for years, this hasn't been a big issue over the years as many of tend to post new listings as time allows and not all at once. So while there are months of double fees [free or not] they typically go by without notice. But that does not and should not take away from those that are newer to this process and have concerns as it is something that does happen.

Why do you guys keep holding these chats, when nothing ever gets fixed or addressed, and the standard answer to 80% of the questions is "we don't have any information to share at this time". Why don't you just post an update saying that and not waste everyone's time for an hour?

I mentioned last week that the ability to select and bulk edit the items that are ending today has disappeared, and we need it back.
The reply I got said that capability was deliberately removed to facilitate the GTC requirement.
I like to use the 50 freebies each month to post items I have not ever posted before, or seasonal things (like Easter, Valentines Day, etc.) for events that will come up in the next 30-45 days.
When I get a "sale" offer from eBay, I use that to relist promising items from the previous two months ( the Unsold list).
If I get 100 extra freebies, and don't remove them in time, they cost me $35/month. 200: $70/month.
I can't help thinking that is the real purpose behind the GTC requirement.
...BTW, both my sales AND the visits to my listings have taken a nosedive since the GTC took effect March 18th.
Hi @vrykalak - thanks for the additional context regarding what you'd like to see back in Seller Hub. I'm happy to send this as an addendum to your suggestion last week, but still recommend that you give that feedback by using the 'Comments?' link on the Seller Hub page. Thanks!

The small 6.25 x 8.5" eBay branded polymailers were introduced in a variety of colors. Can we expect to see the color options in other sizes or will those remain exclusively blue?
Hi @coffeebean832 - no news on any product changes to shipping supplies but I'll get it to the right folks!

Will eBay reconsider the policy of always siding against the seller in "not as described" cases? The way things are now, a buyer can buy "Red Shirt Size XL Cherry Color," and click not as described, with a message saying, "I didn't realize it was red. I wanted blue," or "I didn't see that it was size XL. I always wear size Small." In both cases, those would be automatically decided against the seller, and the seller would be forced to accept the return and give the buyer a full refund including shipping both ways. In the rest of the selling world, that's not considered "the cost of doing business."
Hi @emerald_door, we don't have any plans to change the Money Back Guarantee process at this time.

If you have a return request which you feel is invalid on a "No Returns" item, is there any way to have someone above the regular CS level review it?
Hi @millcreekrescue909, a No returns return policy would only apply when the return request is for a remorse reason. If your buyer has indicated the reason for the return is because what they received does not match the description in the listing, we would expect a seller to accept the return and provide a refund. The only exception would be if there is evidence abuse beyond a seller disagreeing with the buyer's claim; we would need proof that the item was forwarded, altered, or that the buyer is otherwise attempting to take advantage of the eBay Money Back Guarantee. If our Customer Service teams have reviewed the request and determined that it is valid, then we encourage you to address the concern to the best of your ability.

On last week's chat I brought up ebay revising/adding/deleting Item Specifics on active GTCs midstream. I wasn't able to reply back to the Blue because the Chat was closed after hours. My understanding from the ebay reply was that if I have a GTC running (or even an auction for that matter) and eBay makes revisions to Item Specifics while it is active, ebay will determine the appropriate "new" IS for the listing. Did I read that correctly?
I was also told of the possibility of getting some kind of IS list that would indicate just what IS were changed/added/or deleted. Just following up here. eBay did an IS update a week ago or more, yet no one can tell me just what was changed/added/deleted. Thank you.

Thank you for passing this along to the PTB.
I have commented via other links, thanks to your suggestion, and will continue to do so.

This should have already been to the team. The OOS individual option has been in the forum topics for, at least, a month, if not since very shortly after the announcement of GTC.
Is this really a surprise suggestion?
Hi @gracieallen01 - I'm not aware of what has been suggested to the Seller Hub team in the past (I know that I haven't heard that feature request before). It doesn't mean that it hasn't already been suggested though, so I may be retreading old ground by sending it to them, thanks for the heads up!

"the buyer is otherwise attempting to take advantage of the eBay Money Back Guarantee"....this is the case with this buyer. It is easily provable that it is not a SNAD.
