uploading photos "corrupt files"

I haven't listed on ebay in a few months. When I try to upload photos I get a "corrupted files" error message. I tried the simple listing tool and my photos uploaded.  I have an old coolpix camera and I jpg my photos at 90 instead of 72 because years ago someone said that's what works best with ebay. Any suggestions or ideas?

90 vs 72 shouldn’t matter.

Grab a photo from somewhere else and try to upload it.

2.22 megabytes? That’s much larger than necessary.

Have you tried a photo that didn’t come from your camera?

I need to learn how to upload from my iphone. I don't have another photo I can think of. The only thing I can think of is I tried to upload photos fom my iphone & they opened in adobe bridge but that is not what these photos I have now came through. I've uploaded so many photos before? What would be a good megabyte amount to upload to ebay with?

My compact flash card was so low so long ago the camera wouldn't accept a larger MB. I think the memory card I have in it now is 256 MB 🙂

what would be a good size to try in gif, png-8 or png-24, which is the options adobe "save for the web" has? The "corrupted error" has a bunch of other options.

anyway always learning on ebay when posting on the discussion boards. one thing leads to another. I learned one can now schedule by the minute. I never used that feature because it used to be by the quarter hour.

I'll figure out why the corrupt happens. It may be my computer. I can list with Safari so that is OK.

Will also try to find out the best size photo to upload to ebay from an imac with adobe photoshop elements.

Thank You for responding. Who knows?
