I have a customer that says that can not get the return shipping label that I authorized on their return through my ebay listing. They do not want to pay for shipping and I need the item back that ebay has already closed the return out. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like you prematurely refunded @wkwilliams2003 . You shouldn't refund until you have the item back (assuming you want it back). Once you refund the buyer is not required to return the item and can no longer access the return label.
If your buyer is willing to cooperate and send it back, you can purchase a prepaid label off eBay on a site like pirateship.com and send the label to the buyer.

What do you mean that "eBay has already closed the return"? Has the buyer been refunded?
If you have refunded the buyer already, the buyer will not be able to print a return label from eBay; the label link will not work once the refund has been processed. You may have to find a way to send the buyer a prepaid label outside of eBay, or else pay the buyer to purchase shipping separately in that case.

Has eBay "already closed the return out" because:
a. You've already refunded the buyer instead of awaiting the return of the item?
b. Or the 30 day deadline on the case has already passed?

Because I authorized the refund based off the information I was getting from ebay then it closed the case. I do not believe that what I will get back to be what was actually shipped by pictures. Thanks for the information! Wish there was a number to call to speak to a live person on issues like this before its too late

@wkwilliams2003 As WastingTime suggested go to a site like Pirateship.com or perhaps even USPS, buy the label with you as the addressee and your buyer as the return sender. Save it as a file and email it to your buyer.

Thanks for the information

Won't do any good to contact CS, the case is closed and there's nothing they will do.

You have something better. You have us … the eBay Community.
I haven’t spoken to an eBay rep for over 15 years. I address ALL my questions to the eBay Community … and get faster and more accurate answers than I’ve ever received from an eBay rep.

If you already refunded before you got the item back that closed the case and the label is not able to be accessed anymore.

Yeah you most likely do not want to do that.
