I posted this question in another place but it probably belongs in technical issues.
Twice now I've received an offer on the same day it expires and I cannot reply to the offer.
I'm losing sales. I contacted buyer and requested they offer again but I doubt that it will work.
Help please.

eBay is reportedly experimenting with offers that only last for 12 hours. This has not been announced. I think it has been acknowledged by eBay employees on the forum, but I don't know where the threads are at the moment.
We do see a fair number of threads from buyers, complaining that 48 hours is too long to wait. It seems to me that 12 hours is much too short, since many sellers are not going to log on for at least a 12 hour interval over the weekend. But, sometimes eBay can't see the obvious.

Thanks for your reply. I hope their "experiment" doesn't last long.
I checked my messages last evening and then not again until this morning but by then it was too late.
Do they expect us to stay online 24 hours a day? Crazy.
Thanks again.

I haven't seen confirmation from the blues, can you link the thread?
@Anonymous is eBay really testing 12 hour offers?

Here's a recent thread -- though no official recognition.
There were some screen shots, but they are no longer showing.

Wouldn't the 12 hour timeframe be sort of close if dealing with buyer and seller in different time zones? Buyer in California sends an offer at 6 pm to me, but it is 9 pm here in North Carolina and I am already in bed fast asleep. The last thing I want to think about when I get up in the morning is turning on the computer and checking for an offer. I need to wake up, make coffee, clean the cat's litter box, feed the cat, eat my breakfast. Then I'll turn on computer and check Ebay stuff.
And I do sleep 8 hours ... so I would probably have not only the offer from CA buyer but also a couple messages wondering where I am! LOL

Hi @dtexley3, I can confirm that we are testing this out currently. We will share more info once it becomes available.
