Severe technical issue: Ebay messages related to returns are not forwarded to my personal email

I encountered a crazy problem: My settings are such that all messages in the ebay messager are forwarded to my personal email (Gmail), which usually works flawlessly. However, for some very weird reason, no emails related to returns are forwarded. It sounds crazy (I know!), but that's my problem:

 

It became really annoying today where I received an email that a buyer had opened a case (which he won immediately), because I didn't reply to his return request in time, but I only learnt about this request today. At first, I thought some messages may have been stuck in spam, but it was nowhere to be found in Gmail.

 

Due this slightly annoying situation, I went through all my forwarded ebay emails and compared them to my ebay messages. As I saw, something similar had happened before: When I requested to return an item, I also did not receive any email communication regarding the request, then that the seller had approved the return request and that I was given shipping labels. I only saw it by accident when I logged into my account.

 

Has anybody experienced something similar? It's totally crazy, because all my settings about real time forwarding are correct (I checked with an ebay team member) and I receive tons of messages, except the ones related to returns (from all, I can see). I have no idea what's going on and I opened a technical case with ebay, but I'm not sure if they will actually do a proper investigation. It appears to be super specific and crazy scenario - I wouldn't believe it myself, if I worked for technical support...

 

Anybody else having experienced something similar?
