Did you mean:

"This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

I can't buy any items, everything is marked as "This item is out of stock."

but that's not true ,  when I'm logged out, none of them are out of stock , when I log in they become again .

Contacting support is a nightmare, what else can I do?

Oh yeah, I did ask that. ... ...

As Jack pointed out, we posted the exact same thing at the exact same time. Not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last. 🤷

I don't know what's going on with your account @commanderboy , but if you have not been suspended or restricted in any way, then I'd suggest closing this account and opening a new one.

Yeah, I know. I just figured that you could have acknowledged it, like I acknowledged your post. Would have been nice.

And that was the nightmare with them

Support dragged me out for a week, I corresponded with a bunch of operators and nothing. In the end, they told me not to contact them anymore about this problem, once the developers have solved it, they will say.

...

It looks like you can log on to the community here, but can you log on at this time, to the main website ebay.com? or are you still blocked there?

And have you changed your user ID, or not? Your ID profile page on eBay.com looks as though you have changed your ID recently, and this is the profile page that used the old user ID.

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

I never changed anything.

The problem with " logging in "  was a few months ago, ebay support fixed it, but since then I have this new problem that I am talking about here . They solve one problem, but create a new one.

If my ID, or anything else, was changed, eBay was did it , not me

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

OK, that means that there is definitely still a problem with your account, and it is probably related to whatever went wrong a few months ago. Before that, how long had it been since you purchased something, and did you get (or leave) feedback? I'm not being critical here, but it looks like your most recent feedback that shows up is between 3 to 5 years ago, which is much older than just a few months ago.

Help me out with something please ... what do you see when you click on this link and view your feedback profile page? Please post a screenshot of the full page like this, so we can compare what you see to what other people see on that page (ignore the red outlines, I added those).

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

Last purchase and feedback, approximately last year

After that,  approximately in June  this year , the impossibility of logging in  , login has been fixed but now I have this problem .

I don't use eBay every day, I use it very rarely, but I expect it to always work, and that eBay takes care of these things and solves problems immediately, that's how it should be, I guess, that's their job.

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

@commanderboy, the way your feedback profile page appears, with no user ID on it, definitely shows that there is something wrong with your account. It's not something I have seen before, but I'm trying to think how to go forward.

When you log in, do you use your user ID, or your email address to identify yourself? If you use your email address, try using your user ID "commanderboy" instead, and let me know what happens when you do that? Can you log in with your user ID?

I'm trying to think where else your user ID should be shown ... it should be shown on this page, what does it show here? Your user ID should be the first thing listed under Personal info:

https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile

You should be asked to sign in when you click that link; please use your user ID commanderboy to log in, and let me know what happens. If necessary, use your email address, and see what it says your user ID is.

Please post a screenshot of what you see on that page, but don't include any personal info like your email address or phone number.

OK, thanks. I'm not sure what else to suggest, or to ask about at this point.

It seems clear that something is wrong with your account. Your user ID should show up on your feedback profile page but even you can't see it there. Sometimes it looks like that very temporarily (for a day or so) when a user has changed their user ID, but clearly that's not what has happened with yours.

I checked on the feedback you have left for sellers within the last 5 years (as it shows up on your feedback profile), and I found it appearing on the seller's profiles, but when I looked up the titles of the things purchased, they all appeared to be more than 3 years old because they don't show up in Terapeak Marketplace Research (which includes all sales within the last 3 years that have been paid for, and not cancelled or refunded).

You can try contacting eBay help through the eBay group on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ebay/

Leave a private message for them, and tell them that your feedback profile page is messed up. I don't know if they can help, but at this point, it's the best chance you have as far as I can see

Other than that, I think you will need to use a different account, because this one is messed up in ways I have never seen before.

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

yes, the account is messed up, but that's probably the work of ebay programmers who fixed earlier problem .

I am surprised that there is no ebay employee here who will give his professional opinion or forward the problem to someone at a higher level.

lacemaker3, thanks very much for your time and efforts to fix my account.

I don't have Facebook, I don't use social networks.

I think that only ebay can solve this, I reported the problem to them in the contact chat  and we will see how much they care about their users.

2 hours spent on chat support and nothing. all of them just extend the chat time for their benefit, their bonus and just transfer you to the next one after a very long conversation

After half an hour the first chat supporter says this is for the second, then the second chat supporter after half an hour says this is for the third , but they are not able to solve anything .

Every time when every one chat supporter collects enough chat time , he switches you to the next one, as a suggestion he is a better expert , he will resolve your problem .... but only whaste your time , no one will resolve nothing ,they only use you for they benefit to justify their salary, which they receive for nothing

They ask milion pointless questions just to prolong the pointless chat for their own benefit.

I chatted with 4 of them and nothing, when each of them collected enough time for themselves, they would transfer me to the next one

This is eBay deceiving its users, a real shame for eBay!!!!!!

I'm giving up because it's pointless to waste time, shame on you eBay

@commanderboy,

I just noticed this reply and had another thought.

They were asking you to verify your phone number and address, in order to confirm that you are the real account owner. So when you refused to confirm it, that makes you look like you have hacked the account. That could be why they won't address this for you.

FYI, the CS reps always have a bunch of people waiting in line for chat, and they get paid by how many calls they reply to, not how many minutes they spend per call. They are usually trying to get done quickly and move on to another call.

Re: "This item is out of stock." PROBLEM

No, I didn't refuse anything, I gave them all what they are asked for, I'm just saying that it's pointless

I entered the chat from my eBay account, what confirmation is still needed when I'm chatting from him !

If someone else is chatting from my eBay account , or has access ,  so then he can go to the personal information page , see all that information and tell chat support.  So how we confirmed it was me , no way !

Your information means nothing to me, because I have had experience with them myself and it's completely different .

... by the way ,  my account still hasn't been fixed   !!!!!!
