"It's you, it's us - server is down..." message DEC 2021

Hi, I am trying to list items for sale and every time I do I get the message which I see people have had before, going back as far as 2019, saying the server is down.
I have tried disconnecting net and reconnecting, Safari and Firefox, all to no avail.
To add to my confusion Ebays server reporting system says everything is fine...?
This started happening yesterday, then stopped, and now has started again.
What goes on please?

(exact wording of message slightly abbreviated)

@bargainboys-4-u

Are you trying to list on ebay.com.au or ebay.com?

@lesley167

Are you trying to list on ebay.co.uk or ebay.com?

You are both currently posting on the US ebay.com community pages.

The "it's not you, it's us" message is a generic error page that can be caused by many different things. Possibly you are following a bad link or redirection, starting from a broken listing or template, or something is timing out on eBay's end.

Others were having problems trying to list after Thursday's update, but I think the error was corrected by some time on Friday morning (in the US).

If you are still having problems listing, try alternative means to list. Try another browser or another device. Try another link. Try starting from a brand new listing, with or without using a template. Try sell similar, erasing all the previous data carried over from the other listing. Try switching between the quick listing tool and the advanced or business tool. Try starting your listing using the eBay app, and finishing with a desktop.

I am getting this on 2 different windows 10 computers using different browsers - chrome/edge.

I cannot create a new listing - always get the error

I cannot create a "sell one like it" item - always get the error

can create an item from an old incomplete item or if I add item from android app

At first I thought it was just when I tried to use the item details database, but seems to be anytime I try now.
bloody annoying, but unsure if a windows or an ebay prob...

Re: "It's you, it's us - server is down..." message DEC 2021

I've had the problem of "its a not you " for the past week when I try and list an item. I try and go through a clean process of typing the item and then choosing from the category options eBay suggests. I then get the message. I have also tried going through using the "sell one like this" method. Each time I get the "its not you" message. its really frustrating as I have quite a lot to put on and the weekend peak buying time is slipping. when I go and look at the eBay service status (their link) it says everything is fine.  I haven't got another method of posting on the site, so I wish eBay could at least give an indication as to when the problem might be fixed.

I have the same problem... On US Ebay I can add new list without any problem and on UK Ebay I have problems from maybe one week, but now I get the same message ''Its not you'' always when I try to add something. I tried other browsers but nothing changes...
