"Checking your browser before you access eBay" hangs on Firefox/mac.

When I click on a listing I get a new window that says "Checking your browser before you access eBay. Your browser will redirect to your requested content shortly. Please wait..."

It hangs on this window and NEVER shows me the item. I am running Firefox 138.0.4 on a mac laptop using OS 15.5. I don't have this problem with the Safari browser, only with Firefox. This has been happening for a few days now. I can't bid on what I can't see.

Click the ? icon on the bottom right of the page to file a tech report.

You may have to do it from a different browser. As of yesterday the ? report option was not working for me on Firefox.

Pretty much everything is broken right now between eBay and Firefox.

I found this info online in case it helps:

"That's usually from a website using Cloudflare (or a similar service) to protect from DDOS attacks. You'll get it more often especially when using fingerprinting protection, a VPN, or Tor. I don't know if there's a workaround that doesn't involve loosening your privacy settings."

this is garbage. I have WASM disabled for SECURITY REASONS. Ebay now wont work unless I disable my security measures?

This only get worst after 5pm.

Now eBay is Blocking all attempts to us Firefox Browser, Don't Matter if you are using a VPN or Not

You can not view any Actions at all so in turn I can not Purchase anything from eBay at this point in time.

Since this is only happens when you click on any Auction, This is a eBay Issue since I have not upgraded my Firefox since 139.0 and it worked all day yesterday then I would have to say the inmates are running the Asylum!!

Firefox 139.0.4 seems to be working just fine for me, as is 140.0.2, so it cannot be that eBay is actually blocking Firefox.

Having same issue using Chrome - settings claims it is current.

I have noticed this off and on for the last few days, but it never locked on this screen before.  When I attempted to post this note, I got a message that invalid HTML was found. I'm going off to scan, but I suspect it's eBay invlaid HTML.

Holy Cow I can't buy anything on Ebay anymore it doesn't matter which browser I am using. I use both Brave and Silk. I also sell on Ebay so I wonder how many sales I am losing due to buyers not being able to access my listings. I have missed out on viewing or purchasing multiple times from other sellers. This is a total waste
