with this new message format  i cant click to link to the  order customer  is referring to in his message.

same with linking to the item listing when the customer sends a message about an item

it does appear in the email but when i click i am getting an error message

Is it possible that what the buyer is referring to in not a valid order, or that it was a valid order placed through a different eBay account?

Another possibility: the order information is valid but the link only works for the buyer's own account ("your order").

If this is the only message with this issue, it might be a one-off problem; but if other messages have similar non-working links, that would be an indication that something is broken with the message system. It might be worth contacting eBay about using the "Updated message feedback" link on the message inbox page.
