Been trying for 2 months to change my checking acct for payouts and payments. Ebay says they are aware of the problem but, for some reason they cant seem to fix it. The call it a "Glitch." Well, what this "Glitch" does, it allows Ebay to subtract all their fees from my sells and then not transfer anything into my checking acct. In other words, my funds just sit in some kind of bizarre Ebay acct and I have no access to them. I have talked to customer service almost everyday since early Dec about this situation. To date (01/22/2022) nothings changed. Ebay has my money and there's really nothing I can do about it. Ebay's behavior in all of this borders on criminal. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing they are taking their fees out of your old bank account?
If they are, I would close that one today. That may get them to "verify" your new one....so they can take their fees and still hold onto your payouts because "reasons".
Your situation is mirrored by many on these boards from what I have seen these past months.
So, seller complaints do not seem to change anything.
Customer service as it is.....do nothing to help. From what I've seen posted, eBay for Business on facebook offers more help. I do not know why that is. One would think better customer service would be provided ON THE ACTUAL SITE USED. But, it is what it is.
As to the legality, you will see replies like "It is in the User agreement!" and "Read the TOS!" which does not really offer anything in way of an explanation. User agreements change and can be challenged in a court of law if one has enough patience and money or a class action suit is filed.
In closing, patience is now a must to sell on eBay no matter how big or small a seller is.
I hope things work out in your favor. Good luck.

Things that may help with linking or editing your bank account for Managed Payments:
Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin and click on edit your payout method.
Instead of selecting your bank from the pull down menu, scroll all the way to the end and click on "My bank is not on the list" to enter the information manually.
Make sure you are using your bank's preferred ACH routing number for online deposits, as it often is different than the one preceding your account number on your checks.
Make sure your name is exactly the same on your ebay account as it is on your the bank account. Change the ebay name if needed, you can change it back later.

From what I understand, actual Ebay employees are on their FB page.
When you call CS, you never know who you'll get or if they know anything.
