the issue started about a month ago. iPad, Chrome.
when I click on an e-mail link for a watched item, a new tab opens in the browser, I get the message “this page will open in another application (Cancel/Open)” but the tab has already closed and the choice makes no difference - nothing happens.
I have no e-bay app installed. I also open my gmail in Chrome.
The force-open link menu lets me copy the link, which opens just fine when pasted (although it is really really awkward and time consuming). There are no “open in app” or “open in browser” choices, just “open”, and it fails as described above.
Furthermore, (another issue) all links on the ebay website refuse to respect the “open link in new tab” command, and each link is opened in BOTH new tab and the main tab.
