I've not been able to reach eBay all day today. I keep getting 'the site can't be reached' message.
Tried the usual ways but so far no luck. I wonder if it's to do with location ?

Check your Purchase History -- if committed to purchase the item it should appear there, and you should be able to complete checkout.

I have not seen any indications of any large numbers of folks unable to reach eBay lately, and it seems to be working for me in the US.

Are you able to reach any other eBay country sites such as ebay.ca, ebay.co.uk, ebay.ie or ebay.com.au instead?

No, I cannot reach any eBay site but am still getting email updates (saved searches etc). I can come here too to the Community but no luck otherwise apart from one hour this morning. Then it went again.
I am not sure what else I can do. I cannot get to see any bids, money owed etc. All a bit annoying.
Thanks for your response.

Also, the 'downdetector' link you posted does not work for me either. When I click on 'Am I human' it tells me I am incorrect and 'please try again'. Maybe I am not human after all and that's why eBay do not want me !!!

I see you are registered in Israel.
Are you using a VPN? I know that certain VPNs can cause problems for eBay.
It may be that your particular network is having difficulty reaching eBay in the US. Have you tried reaching any other eBay sites such as ebay.ca or ebay.co.uk or ebay.com.au? Are you able to reach eBay using the eBay app on your phone?
Here is what the downdetector link currently shows:

Can't reach any eBay site except this Community. Still get all the emails each day (saved searches). Yes, I can get to eBay on my phone.
Never had a problem in all these years.
Most odd. had my computer expert brother-in-Law have a look and he cannot work it out either !!

Try another browser to rule out browser issues.
Try another device to rule out device issues. You say you can reach eBay using your cell phone -- is your cell phone using the same wifi network as your computer? If so, that might indicate the problem is with your computer's settings. Check the network settings on your computer, particularly if anything has changed recently, and try temporarily disabling your VPN and antivirus. Rebooting and scanning your computer for viruses or malware might be a good idea as well.
If your phone can reach eBay on another network or using cellular data rather than wifi, but not when using wifi only at home, that might indicate a problem with your local network. It might be worth trying to reboot some of your network devices such as a wifi router, ethernet switch or cable modem.
Are there any other major US .com sites you have difficulty reaching? Amazon? Yahoo?
If none of those things has any effect on the problem, the problem may be a network issue between your local network and eBay's servers, or on eBay's end -- then see about contacting your ISP or eBay to alert them and see if they have any suggestions.

I am having the same issue over several days. I have not been able to review messages, send an invoice. I can add listings. It is very frustrating to not be able to respond to customers. And when I click on the "Go to Solution", it just takes me to the original post and response that is more questions, not a solution.

Try using a different browser; if those pages load correctly, go back to your original browser and delete your browser cache and possibly eBay cookies.
If both browsers give you error messages (and eBay is not currently down), you may have a network or device issue of some kind.

You are registered in the UK, but you are currently posting on the US discussion boards. Try signing out of the US ebay.com site, and signing back in to the UK site here:
The "It's Not You, It's Us" is a generic error message that may mean a particular link is not working. If that is the case, try using an alternative link that may get you to the result page you are trying to reach.

I get that message from time to time. Generally, refreshing the page a few times will get you where you're trying to go. eBay has many servers and when you open a page, you don't always connect to the same one. Refreshing the page a few times will ultimately get you connected to a server which is not having the problem you're experiencing.

I am trying to tell them that I wanted a rebate for final selling fees of an item I sold on 31/05/2020, but refunded the buyer 3 days later, because the item was damaged by UPS. When I accessed their email address to send my query, it stated the item # had either ended or wrong, so email did not 'send'. Packlink has refunded me the value & postage of the item on 17/09/2020.
