I can't understand why eBay's website loads so slow. I have fiber optic internet and a brand-new PC.
What's up? I can empty a ketchup bottle faster.

Ditto - eBay's performance is appalling. Never seen a site hang like this. Must have pretty bad devs to get it this wrong.

Zero. Bc noone should have to do anything to make a site work. This is the only commerce site Ive been to which bogs down under its own poor coding and that when I comment about it I have someone gaslighting me that its somehow my fault and I have to do something lol. Suggest fixing the site, not telling users its their fault.

Exactly. Over the years ebay has occasionally updated the site and screwed it to garbage. In years past it would take them a while but they would fix it. Now they just leave it and don't bother.

I have run the site on Firefox now for years.
But I started having issues about mid week last week. Turned out, eBay was fighting with my Malwarebytes Browser Guard plug in. I simply turned it off for eBay, been fine since. Nothing else had to be done.
Site runs fine.
I suggest checking for ANY kind of pop up blockers running while using eBay. Opera has them built in, but if you have any add-ons installed in your browser it could be causing an issue. I get customers all the time that have like 10 different discount plugins installed wreaking havoc on their browsers that I have to remove, there are a lot of bad ones out there.
