I created a for sale listing using the Firefox browser. First Class shipping was preselected for no reason. I changed it to USPS Parcel Select Ground. When I pressed the List It button, it failed with an error message that the item was too heavy for First Class. I scrolled down and saw that shipping was once more set to First Class. Every time that I tried to change the shipping method, the eBay software would change it back to First Class.
I tried changing the shipping method in the Chrome browser. The same bug occurred. Customer Service was no help on the phone.
I was unable to list the item for sale.
I started over with a new listing for the same item. This time, USPS Priority Mail was preselected. Fortunately, the item is within the weight limit for that shipping method because the software won't let me change it.
