eBay standard envelope unable to be used when selecting "lot" category even if they meet requirement

Heads up to all sellers. eBay standard envelope is not a valid shipping option for items listing in "mixed/lot" categories for items that qualify to use the envelope. 

I recently sold 2 cards together using "mixed card lot" category as listing would not post using "individual card" category and offered both standard envelope and 1st class shipping options to buyer. After sale listing qualified to be shipped using standard envelope. FAQ states up to 15 raw cards or 2 top loader cards.

I was just informed by eBay team member that standard envelope only works with single item categories, despite being able to successfully post listing and have buyer pay using this shipping method.

Seeing some other comments looks like this is happening to some other sellers in other categories. Despite eBay advertising sending multiple items in their requirements FAQ and allowing sellers to post listings in "mixed" categories with standard shipping as an available option, yet won't allow sellers to use this service once an item sells that meets the requirements is about as SHADY AS IT GETS! SELLERS BEWARE BEFORE YOU POST AND USE THIS SHIPPING METHOD! Only use individual category. eBay needs to clearly state which categories are allowed and shouldn't allow you to select this shipping method if it won't work. Contradicts their FAQ requirements.

Hey @valueaddedresource! I heard back from the Shipping Team and they did confirm that eBay standard envelope is live for the Mixed Card Lots category. They did mention this as well:
