Major issues with the latest mobile update are causing me to counter or deny Best Offers on items I've listed at my lowest price (and which I chose not to include the best offer option), losing out on sales, customer confidence and loads of time editing or relisting these automatically-changed items.
I take great care to list my individually unique items at a reasonable market value based on their condition, recent sales averages and scarcity. These are generally my bottom line Buy It Now prices, unless I choose to include the Best Offer option. Unfortunately, eBay automated "bots" are changing these unique listings to include Best Offers. No matter the price, these listings are constantly being revised to include this option, causing me the expense of time to regularly check each and every listing throughout the day and revise or relist each item when I see that the change has been made. If I am unable to catch this change and receive an offer on my already low or reasonable price, I in turn lose customer confidence and sales when I notify these buyers of the error and hold to my original listing.
Earlier, I spoke with a truly fantastic eBay representative. She assured me that I am not the only call she's recieved about this new "feature" eBay has included with the latest update and that there is currently no opt-out for individuals who want to keep their listings free of B.O. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do on my behalf but suggest I visit eBay Community Discussions.
So, here I am. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Yes, a number of people have complained about it......This is apparently happening on the "short" ebay listing form. So the only solution is to use the longer form, which includes, but does not require, B/O. To get to it, I believe you have to click "use advanced form" or a similar verbiagge in the upper right corner.

I have been recieving best offers on some items, even though I dont normally offer that option. Also I noted that when I go to ask a seller a question on an item they have for sale, there is a "make an offer" option there now. So more sneaky changes....lol. Thanks Ebay for giving my buyers more options, and giving me less control over what Im selling and to whom Im selling to..... Next are you going to tell me what I should be selling things for $$$$ ???
