Ever since Thursday night -- or at least since 12:00 AM Friday morning 07-07-17 -- there have been problems with ebay Web pages freezing, especially Summary and Purchase History.
I did notice an extra pop-up above the tabs at the top of the page.
Friday morning I was locked out of an auction because the ebay site kept freezing/buffering.
I tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer), but all had the same issue. I tried different computers, but all had the same isuue. (Note: I had no problems with any other websites.) I tried settings for preventing and allowing pop-ops, but neither worked.
Finally I was able to click the Help & Contact. Only then did a warning come up saying there maintenance being done to ebay's website -- note: not just MY pages -- and I may experience difficulties.
And I still am.
I see extra pop-up advertisements on the site. Especially now I usually see two pop-up ads at the top of the page as opposed to one previously. (In addition to the ads on the right and left sides as well as bottom of the pages.)
My web pages for Summary and Purchase History -- the busier pages -- buffer/freeze-up and at times crash.
I have called and reported the issue ebay Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. I have spoken to Tech Support.
Though I requested investigation and some kind of report back, not once have I received any feedback.
I have been a customer since 2003. I have never seen anything like this.
I have Blast! fast Internet Speed. I have had no problems with any other sites. My browsers are up to date.
Am I the only person experiencing this problem? I highly doubt it as that warning on Friday was a general one. And I do see the added pop-up pages.
Please pass along my feedback so they will get this fixed.
I appreciate any and all responses.
Thanks,
Mike

The same problems are occurring for me, too, and I believe I first noticed it on Friday, July 7. I see a lot of discussions about slow page loading, freezing of pages while scrolling, script warnings, etc, so it is happening to others, too. I am using Firefox with Windows 10, but tried Chrome and had the same experience.

I, too am having the exact same issue(s)! I have tried/done all the same things trying to escape the freeze out. Nothing is helping, for DAYS. I am getting beyond frustrated.
Not having this issue anywhere else! I am relieved to know it is not just me, but aggravated it is taking forever for aknowlegement & resolution.

Yes! My Purchase History page will not load more than 1/3 page! I have been trying to pay for two items since yesterday (Tuesday) and cannot check out. I have tried on iMac desktop and ipad using Safari. Page freezes and can go no further.
I am going to try calling CS, but probably will do no good.:(
Wish eBay would get things fixed.

eBay has major problems currently. It's so slow we can do no research or browsing. Constant freezes. How does anyone buy anything here?
We also sell on other platforms. No issues there.
Fixing this should be a high priority for eBay.

I am experiencing the same thing. Happening for about a week. Why isn't this being corrected? It is slow and freezes up. No improvement at all.

I've called at least a dozen times they swear there's nothing on their end! I have tried changing Internet providers from Verizon back to AT&T.net I have tried my laptop with windows 10 versus my iPad!
I upped my Internet speed nothing works and mine started last Thursday as well!
Really upsets me that they will not acknowledge the fact that they were having problems maybe I've been hacked!

This is a general reply to tell everyone / anyone on this post that Trinton from ebay is here on post #20 asking for information
Anyone with issues should give Trinton the information he is looking for.

Similar problems here. I click a link and you can tell the new page is loading, but the screen never changes. The URL is the new link, but I still see the same page as before I clicked it. When I hit refresh, it shows the new page. Something is very wrong with this web app.

Well done. This solved the problem for me.
I skipped making a new filter group and
added the filter in Ad Blocking Rules.
EBay would be well-advised to take note
of your diagnosis and solution in coming
up for a solution to this current problem.

The solution no longer works and the issue is back.

As a part time stamp dealer, this is a real problem for me, especially when it comes to paying sellers. I have been dealing with this problem for over a month also. Yes, Ebay apparently doesn't have the technical expertise to fix this problem. My solution has been to move the selling part of my business to another auction web site --- one that is responsive to fixing technical issues when they arise. Would recommend that everyone seriously consider doing the same
