can't print packing slip with Mac (11.6.8/safari 15.6.1)

print preview shows blank. prints exactly that (blank). from anther user, I use the workaround of exporting as a pdf and printing the pdf. extra 3 steps for every order. the label printing is working fine. just the packing slip. anyone else figure this out???

I'm on OS 12.5.1 with Safari 15.6.1 and can confirm the same issue.

I also tested with Firefox 104.0.2 and had the same problem.

The work-around you're using is what I would have suggested if you weren't already doing it.

Contact customer service to report the issue. I'd go with one of their social channels (facebook or twitter) since it's easy to upload screenshots. You can let them know others are having the same issue and that it's not a setting on your computer, but something stemming from eBay.

If a PC user reading this can check if they see the same blank print preview and report back, that could help narrow down if it's exclusive to Mac OS or not.

The reports of blank preview and blank printing are just starting to roll in.  Generally, if you can save as PDF and print external to the browser, the problem is the browser's built in reader.  You need to set the browser to open PDF files with Adobe.  If still a problem see if the browser has an option to open the file externally rather than within the browser.

Anyone trying the above come back with the results or further details so we can narrow this down further.

My labels are showing right in the preview however when they print they are not the same. P should be printed boldly in upper corner same if it is F for first class. I get an upside down horse....I have done all I know to do, reset printer, uninstalled printer and same with ebay app. I am on a imac running Monterey 12.5.1 and using a brother printer, MFC-L2700dw. Brother says it does not support that update to mac. Then they said it was the app problem with eBay. I use ebay labels all the time now this. The tracking is even bad numbers. I had one item going back a forth across the country and finally back to me. Took to post office and that is when this error was discovered. I checked back over a month of orders for other things that were not delivered. NONE. I did look at the older labels and they also had the upside down horse where the P of F should be. Cost me bucks to redo and redo and void and void labels. I put my thinking cap on and realized I could forgo ebay labels and use my Auctiva account for that. But I want the ebay postage discount and the convienience of using ebay. Been doing it since the beginning of ebay. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks

@wastingtime101  There is no problem printing from Windows.  However, there is a known problem using Firefox starting with V103 when printing from a Mac.  While I don't know about it printing "blank", it does distort the images including possibly the barcode, QR code, and "P" & "F".

Firefox reported it has fixed this problem in V106, but it has not been released for automatic update yet, although you may be able to download it from the FF website. 

A similar problem has been reported for Safari, which might indicate there was also some change in the Mac OS that is affecting both browsers.

A good backup for labels at equal or better discounts is a free PirateShip account, which integrates directly with ebay.

Thanks for that added info. I have a lot on my plate right now so didn't want to start messing around with my settings. Firefox on my system is not set to use the built-in reader. So far I've been able to print PDFs from other sites and there was no issue with print preview - it was only eBay that came up blank in the preview. I didn't go through with printing since I don't usually print packing slips through eBay's system.

I have done most everything you have suggested. Cannot find v106 for ff 

my next move will be either Apple or FF. I tried printing a document from FF as well and it was garbage as well. 
beginning to think FF is in non communication with Apple. Can however print from email. Go figure

I forgot to mention in the start of this tread that this started when I had a disk crash and apple replaced my iMac drive with Big Sur 11.6.8. before the crash I was using Catalina 10.15 without any problems. that plus the fact that safari is previewing and printing all the other eBay pages, like labels, without issues. my powerbook is running Monterey 12.3 with the same issue. my printer is an hp p2035 (with the most current driver). I bought and returned a canon AirPrint printer (that they guaranteed would work) from apple that also did the same thing. 

I know I should be grateful the pdf workaround works, but is is annoying to have to resort to that.
