Are you certain you are using the correct format (MMYY)?

Any difference if you try another browser?

Opening the Payments page and adding a new card, I am able to enter a date in the expiration field even without entering any other numbers. Try adding a new card again, and this time enter the date first.

Yes absolutely certain I'm using the correct format for the expiration date browser did not make any difference

Try a different device to enter credit card details to rule out a device issue.
