Wrong name in "tell us what you think"

So, today, I noticed...

that little "Tell us what you think" link to the side of the page...was NOT my ebay name!

I refreshed my page...and it was another different name! Every time I refreshed...a different name.

WTH???

Everything else is correct, but, why is this like this?

I am asking here, because, well, I don't think any agent I could talk to would understand it or know the answer....

tried to post a pic, but keeps saying invalid file type. Also,why does it do that? I never have pics not upload from my ipad when listing an item...

1. Image file extension:  what is the file extension on the images you are trying to upload?  .png? .jpg?  I suspect what is happening is the image is being saved as a web page type image ... ".webp"

2. ID change:  You may want to clear cookies, cache, history, etc then shut down and restart to see if the problem clears or remains.

3. Which page was this happening on?

I'm experiencing this too! It only shows up in my Payments section, but it cycles through 3 or 4 account names I've never, ever had.

Similar problem here! Some time ago  ( 2 years) I Changed my User  name but my Store name NEVER updated and still shows the old ID. I must of tried to update it a dozen times over the past and it never fixes itself.  GLITCH ebay Mod!

Yes...this was on my Payments page, too.

Which, btw, I can't see any of my Payments on. And of course, ebay cannot answer why.

Missed on that link I think:

I have not seen this problem prior to today... Such is usually a cookie problem, and can cause all sorts of security issues...

Yet this topic need to be posted on that board Tech issues.... It is read buy employees...

The system they are using and browser need to be posted with such issues...

So far reports of the payment section and the tell us what you think...

day ain't over yet is the way I am taking this one for the moment.

Some one flag a blue (LOL I still think of them as pinks due to very old boards...) ,

and I hope they read this.. topic... fast..

Hi @mr_lincoln - this does look related to an open technical issue currently being worked on. It is a display issue - your information remains secure and is not visible to others. I've added folks here who reported being impacted to the open ticket.

I can see the name change when I refresh the page, mostly.
