On days I get no errors or problems with the ebay site I will average $1000 a day. On the days I get site issues, which has been most for the last 3 years, my sales are dropped down to an average of $500 a day. Also when maintenance or changes are down, mostly overnight, my sales and offers will vanish for 5-9 hours.
I opened a 2nd store, which at first acted differently than my 23 year old account. Lately it's just been seeing the same issues. I made more on ebay before all these problems with only 30k-35k listed. Now I have 62k listed, 2 stores and make far less these days.
Being I have decent sized store and I'm active on ebay 10-12 hours a day listing and shipping I get to see problems before ebay knows of them and get to see the problems more often throughout each day.
When will the updates, changes and the problems stop?
