Why "New products" Newsletter is not allowed to send to recent buyers

I tried to create a newsletter campaign for our new products(Store/Store newsletter/Campaign). But found the recipients for "New products & collections" Newsletter can only include subscribers and followers. Actually those recent buyers( bought within 365 days) are the potential buyers for these new products.

If they bought from you in the past they are simply not interested in receiving your newsletter.

Over the years I have bought quite a few things on eBay and I have NEVER signed up for a sellers newsletter. Even if I did sign up I doubt I would ever actually look at more than the first one.

Single merchant websites (not eBay) I may sign up for many of those and that provides me with plenty of advertising "spam". I don't need more from eBay sellers that I'm unlikely to buy from again.

Even for sellers I "follow", I only do it so I can easily find them in the future, I don't need or want to receive their newsletters.
