Why doesn't greedbay just add tracking cost to first class? Instead of causing the seller chaos

First class a lot less money than ground adv. Selling inexpensive items become impossible due to high postage. Each time the post office raises prices more billion profit for greedbay.

It is less BECAUSE there is no tracking. This is set by USPS. eBay had nothing to do with it.

You can add tracking to any USPS shipping, usually around .90 cents

A discount on something that does not exist would be quite the accomplishment.

Sorry, but that's partially incorrect.

The only domestic postage contract with which eBay is involved is with Pitney-Bowes, not USPS.

And, since most eBay products are not shipped via USPS First Class envelope rates, there is no motivation for Pitney-Bowes to offer any discounts on USPS First Class envelope services, beyond the discount for business metered mail via the eBay Standard Envelope.
