This is weird: I am trying to customize the view of my listed items, and these are the steps I followed (about 25 times now, to no avail):
I click on any one of my listings
Click "See other items"
Under the
View
Customize (cog wheel)
Check the radio button for "Gallery View"
Apply Changes
and nothing changes. All of my items are still exhibited in a vertical list.
Next time, when I try to repeat these steps, the Gallery view is unchecked, as if I had never checked it before, and the check mark is in the round radio button of the vertical view. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
PW

You are welcome -- I hope that my suggestions work for you.
I certainly hope that eBay's programmers fix the various problems with its software eventually; but until they do, workarounds like this will have to suffice.

I have noticed that the customization does not always "take", particularly if you make many changes at once, or if you are trying to save a setting that differs from your current view.
What has worked for me is to delete eBay cookies in my browser, then sign back in to eBay. Run a search and set up the view, sort and items per page that you want using the controls on the search results page. Then go to customization and adjust the settings to correspond to your desired view, and apply the changes.
Reload the search and check if the defaults have been applied correctly. Make the necessary changes if not. After several rounds of this, your default settings should be correct and not need any further changes.
If not, try signing in using another browser -- some browsers seem to be better than others at allowing those settings to be changed and retained.

Thank you @eburtonlab I will try to play around with this - it is just that, I think there should be a much easier way to solve this issue, don't you think? Walking around in circles and waste all that time and energy, risking that, in the end, it still might not do the trick, sounds like a very cumbersome method to achieve something that should work like click, click and click, in 2-3 seconds.
Thanks anyways, have a nice day!
