When i type in or image search it just goes back to home page, I have uninstalled and reinstall

When I carry out a search either by typing in or image search but it just goes to home page. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but still the same.

Make sure you have the latest version of the eBay app for your operating system.

Try uninstalling the app, restarting your device and then installing the latest version.
