Hi..wonder if this is a glitch or something to worry about. For the last two times that I log into my account on eBay I get a strange "tired of passwords, sign up for fingerprint ID" on my laptop where I primarily use eBay. I've never seen this before. I just bypass it, but I do notice at the top in the address field it says site is "not secure" which is ludicrous since eBay IS a secure site. I wonder if anyone else has gotten this and if this is something to be concerned about? Everything SEEMS secure on my end. Thank you.

It's not a glitch. It started appearing for me a couple of days ago on Chrome and FireFox but not on Safari. My computer does have a fingerprint sign in which I use to wake the machine from sleep, but I don't use it to log in to websites. I need to look and see if there's a preference setting in Chrome and FireFox that I can turn off so that screen stops appearing.

Thank you. I looked on my computer and it does not have this option. I do wonder why it has only lately appeared.

My pop up also says "insecure" at the page top where the "secure" lock icon usually is. Very sketchy. This needs to be stopped.

I'm only seeing it in Chrome. I was mistaken when I said Firefox. I checked my Chrome settings but couldn't find one related to this. I'm thinking it may not be controllable at the browser level after all.
It would be nice if eBay added a checkbox that said "do not show me this message again" tyler@ebay

Yes I can't fix it either. I wonder why this is only popping up recently?

It started for me about a week ago, maybe two and only in Chrome. I'd like to see an option to turn off that message for good, but be able to revisit the option within my site preferences if I change my mind later.

I TIRED of this stupid message popping up!
I'm only getting this on my PC.
This must be for phone apps or?
Someone please make this go away...
Has anyone with a PC Turned it On?
If so what happens?
Does the message go away and you long in as normal?

they must have fixed it because I did not see it the last two times I logged on.

I don't think so. I went two days without seeing it, then I rebooted my computer and it's back.

Really? Bizarre, because I haven't seen it since posting this initial thread. Hopefully, it will eventually disappear.
