First my organic impressions are down 70%+ (for several days now) and today 14 hours into the day and have only 2 organic sales, with 51,000 items listed. Used to sell about 25-30 organic a day. Since the new promotion piggyback it dropped to about 15 organic sales a day. Now it's hitting 7, 8 and today only 2 so far. Something is up in the promoted/organic world that I have not figured out yet.

I called it in yesterday and the rep didn't even want to put a ticket in. I had to ask for a supervisor before he agreed to but said don't expect anything.

This stuff is getting worse instead of better.

You're not alone. My impressions have crashed in the past 72 hours. Must be something to do with the algorithm. I wouldn't bother calling it in, it would never reach the right people 😒

Since July 5 my organic impressions are 1/3 of what they normally average. My sales are down a bit too. What is weird is that they are almost identical sales dollar amounts since then. Normally I'm on a roller coaster, but since the 5th...sales are almost even.

I called also and they basically had no idea what I was talking about. 1 sale today and have only sent 3 offers. Usually by this time of day I've already sent 10-20 offers.

When you call, the reps do absolutely nothing. They act like they are helping, but in reality they are just there to give some comfort. They don't have ability to change anything in your account. So it's basically pointless to call, it does absolutely nothing.

Around July 6th eBay sent out an offer to sellers with a $100 coupon if they switched to Pay-Per-Click Promoted Listings. If a lot of eBay sellers chose to take advantage of this promotion, I believe it will have an effect of completely burying organics.

Offers are a complete mess also, errors when I send them, when I try to accept them and now the offers I get overnight was down to 1 last night. 51k items, I used to get 20+ offers a night. There is a huge meltdown happening. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now.

I'm in the same boat with my organic impressions slashed by 60% starting about a week ago. But what's so peculiar to me is although my impressions have been dramatically reduced, my views are still consistent with previous data.

How is it possible to have such a reduction in impressions but still the same amount of views?

I don't trust the data on the traffic interface. Seen too many anomalies that suggest the data isn't entirely accurate. I'm hopeful this current phenomena is irreflective of what we're assuming, and it's just another meaningless glitch.

To add a little more - My click-through rate has not changed, though it should have risen as I have less impressions but the same amount of views. Also, my conversion rate has dropped by around 0.6% --- but doing the math, it should have risen.

As I said in the previous message, I'm not sure the numbers on the traffic page are reliable.

They aren't. I downloaded the report weekly and cross check individual item views and they are inflated. My listing impressions since the 5th July went from 110,000 to 39,000. If I end a promotion I seem to get more watchers thus allowing me to send more offers and get a few sales. Promoted Listings is hurting my sales it seems.

My Organic impressions are down 50-60% since July 6th as well. Something happened that day and it hasn't recovered.

Hey @urban_picker! I reached out to the Ads team to see what may have happened and I have the following insight to share:

"Organic impressions reporting from View Item is inaccurate for all sellers for July 7 to July 10. Starting July 13, all reporting data will be accurate."
