What is wrong with the ebay site today?

I know, dumb question. 🙂 but... In the first 8.5 hours of the day, sold only 3 items (when I average around 80 a day) yet traffic impressions are reading at almost 1 million (average per day is normally 1.6 million). Also only 1 offer has come through. Something is WAY off with ebay today so far, I just hope they are working on it.

It it not ebay.     I am slow everywhere.

It is the 4 th of July and vacations.   After being cooped up for over a year,  people are going out instead of being stuck inside.       Money is shifting away from retail  to leisure industry.    Despite raining everyday,  NH is experiencing it 's best tourist season in decades.

It is tax month.   Lots of people are getting hit with tax bills due to SS deferment.

People are deciding that less is more.   Fewer families are working 2 jobs,  choosing to due with less.

Brick and Mortar stores are up.

Many states have ended enhanced  employment benefits to force labor back into low paying jobs.

Inflation.

Deferred spending on medical and dental.

UM believes these trends will continue throughout summer

They believe there will be a robust back to school market though.

Not true, my average numbers are still way up compared to last month and last year. Tone of people still shopping online. My sales are still rolling in all day long when ebay is working properly. I did some spot checks with search ranking and somethings are not normal.
