Hello,

just to share my PURE FRUSTRATION with ebay services.

First - ebay ask to have full access to my bank account...that quite odd, Paypal was fine - but OK, I done all as it was, fix the microcredits and so on. Will be problem with refund and so on - Paypal was better solution.

Second - they ask for passport or drivers license, and of course if it is not US - it is not valid, even the document is perfectly valid.

Third - there is sales I made now, and it is mark and ship now - but there is no money on bank account (because service is slow and not instant as Paypal). I am not going to ship until I see money arrived... and I probably will loose the customer.

Fourth - ebay - how much worse it can be? Do you ask for my PC password and keys from the house and car next time???

Angry customer with 10+ years on ebay... It was just working once upon a time.

Yes, if you wait to ship, you'll probably loose customers.

You can use the pending funds to cover the shipping.

No, It's not instant like Pay Pal was and it takes a couple days to receive the funds.

"Great answer" and it did NOT help at all - loose customers, delayed payments - and you are upgrading and make ebay more efficient???

However, this is not solving main issue - that valid documents are valid driving license and valid passport is not accepted, so problem do stay and I wait for valid solution.

To complain to eBay you can contact them by going to Contact Us at the bottom of this page > far right during US business hours -

Or more helpfully post on the Switzerland boards as they use Payoneer and my have more advice for you as to how to present the documents for Payoneer / managed payments

No problem.

What is Payoneer?

Don't know much about it, but Ebay is going to use it in some countries so sellers can be paid.

When you sign up for Managed Payments, you attach your Payoneer account and not a checking account.

Ebay has had a lot of trouble with people putting up FAKE accounts. Have you seen silly things like Ty Beanie Babies selling for $10,000-$20,000? Ridiculous! I'm not sure exactly how they pull it off but perhaps they put one up for sale on one account, open another account and buy it from themselves, then try to sell YOU one at that price because they know you can find it in the SOLD items 'apparently' selling for that amount so you might think you're getting a 'bargain' if you get this beanie babie "with errors" for 'only' $5-8,000.

Go look for the highest priced Ty Beanie babies in the SOLD items and you will see that the majority of the sellers of the really high-priced toys have NO ratings, NO reviews and NO sales. It's a SCAM! And there have been other problems. Don't blame Ebay for having more security, blame shyster, unscrupulous SELLERS!

And no, I don't work for Ebay but I hate it when people are allowed to scam us on there!

It might be a reason to confirm seller identity indeed.....However, demanding copy of driving license from business seller ( our managing manager ) is just ridiculous . There are plenty of ways to check business eligibility and legal status. No idea what genius here found the connection between driving license of our manager and LLC bank account. And really doubt they demanded the same from Best Buy for instance. or other business selling here.

Another topic about the same was responded by seller with 'multimillion sales' who said that can provide even a birth certificate if necessary.

OK, go ahead. Once we'll see you all these data in darknet , you won't be so happy. We don't trust eBay is just safe portal to provide them all sensitive data. So, after 15 years we said : good bye ! Especially that due to more 'improvement' like this one, this marketplace is wasting the time now. From 10% of our income to 0.1 % - good luck dear eBay !

It became a gray market already, so it is too late for that moves.
