I've been receiving this message for the last few days while trying to list new items:

and ebay WONDERS why there sells are down from 2023 and again down from 2022.. its because they never reply to any of these posted question to tec. "support" they keep posting " NO ISSUES REPORTED" so i guess all these post go un-read by ANYONE AT ebay.

I'm having the same issue. I have been listing items without incident, perfect review history and financial account set up correctly. I have a whole folder of pictures and descriptions ready to list and am shut down. The message makes it appear the issue is on their end but 48 hours after this happened, I'm still shut down.
I have no clue what to do to resolve this issue.

I'm just now getting this error. I have been listing items without issue but now I'm getting the message below.
I've never received this error before.

What operating system and browser version or app version are you using?
Any difference if you use another browser or another device?

Same.
Mac. 15.3 (24D60).
Google Chrome. Latest.

Same here. Been going on for weeks. I've tried clearing cookies, using different computers, different browsers... Even if not everyone is affected that's still an issue ebay should be addressing as blaming the user for their own compatibility problems is poor customer service.

Which operating system versions? Which browser versions?
If there is a factor that affected users have in common, it might be useful to know that. That might suggest a workaround or even a possible fix.

At least one affected user has indicated being able to use the eBay app to create a new listing to get around the error, then finishing editing the listing using a desktop browser.

I didn't have any issues yesterday, then at lunch it started happening with Chrome. I can't use any browser, I get the global error page "well this is embarrassing".

As an update, I was able to create a draft on my phone through the ebay app. I was able to access and update the listing and post it successfully. I still can't create new listings on my laptop, but I guess this is a workaround until something is done.

I read your response and just did the same thing. I was able to list through my phone but still cannot list on the PC.

I just tried again on my laptop and it looks like now I'm able to create new listings now. I am unsure as to what happened, but I haven't gotten the global error page.

I am getting the same error message even when trying to revise current listings. I have not had any trouble with NEW listings but cannot edit some of my existing listings. This started for me yesterday. First happened when trying to bulk edit listings to lower prices. Some listings were flagged as "System Error" not able to be bulk edited, and then when I tried to individually edit each listing, I got the error page that everyone else is mentioning. In order to make changes to these listings, I am having to end listing and then re-list, which is a lot of work just to change a price.

Hi Everyone,
We have been encountering an issue for over three weeks regarding the creation and revision of listings. I’m pleased to inform you that this issue has been resolved if you follow below steps.
The solution involved opting out of the business policies associated with your eBay account. To proceed, please follow these steps:
Go to your Business policy page.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/bp/policyoptin
1. Opt out of your eBay account's business policies.
2. Delete all three policies related to Payment, Return, and Shipping.
Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to create new listings and revise existing ones immediately.
As a precaution, I recommend waiting at least 48 hours before setting up any new business policies to ensure everything functions smoothly.
Best regards,
