Ok here goes:
I sell items in my store. My Sellers hub states I have 1689 listings but my store shows 1628 (this has been on-going), as well as the weird scenario below:
When I cross-checked my inventory under the Sellers Hub for a particular item series it showed (41) in that category which matched my inventory perfectly.
Then when I go into my store and count each quantity per name it comes up to 43. The problem is that they BOTH now show in my store for sale at different prices and packaging and since I did that they have different item #s.
So, I say to myself, ok I will go into my Sellers hub and enter the Item# of the older one which I don't want displayed in my store. It does not come up!! Is that older item listing only visible by me in my store and not a BUYER?..
Reps in India are certainly not trained in GREY areas since the whole eBay portal is full of GREY areas. LOL
Would really like a thorough explanation of why these count discrepancies keep occurring. I will end a listing for now on instead of just changing photo. I know this AI thing is riddled with problems but I wish someone would give me a clear answer about this thing above and any other info regarding why count discrepancies keep occurring.
