Watchlist forcing me to sign in in an infinite loop

This is an issue that just started today. Every time I try to 'watch' an item it asks me to sign back in. So I do. Then it asks me to sign back in. So I do. Then it asks me to sign back in. You see where this is going right? So I cleared the cookies, signed out, closed the browser. The problem still persists. So someone at ebay broke your watchlist function, good job!

 

I really don't understand why businesses hire programmers who are clearly from some country where people don't actually know how to program, instead of paying a living wage for an american programmer. I'm not going to buy anything until this is fixed, so I guess you lose money because you're not hiring people who can actually do their job.

That's more than likely a glitch Ebay needs to fix. It has happened to me but not for awhile.

Adding an item to my Watch List seems to be working for me.

 

Try another browser to rule out a browser issue.

 

If another browser works better, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in the original browser.

Also having this sign in issues on eBay app (Android) since 9/06/24 (after being "kick-out" / forced logoff). After entered CORRECT credentials, the app just displayed "Technical difficulties, please try again later."

 

Already tried: clear cache, clear storage, uninstall app, then reinstall !!

What device and operating system are you using? And what app version number?

 

Make sure you have the latest version of the app if your operating system supports it; otherwise use a browser to reach ebay.com.

Same thing here.  I reported to ebay friday morning.  Still not fixed.  I just got off chat with them and they aware of the issue and tech support is working on it.
