Watch list condidtion listed in German

For some reason, although I never changed setting from English, the Watch screen list all the items in English, but with a condition in German..

• Condition: Gebraucht

I know this is not a bid deal but "Ich spreche kein Deutsch" (I dont speak German)

Zo, vat ist die answer to dis frage? Wenn ich eine Watchlist anschaue, ist die Bedingung in Deutsch aufgeführt. Never seen Italian. Is this ebay trying for some humor or language enrichment?

Yes had the German sign in page again today and also my watch list some are German ....

Now also in French as of two days ago.

It seems to be a scripting issue, if you are watching an item from a foreign seller or someone in the UK who has translated their listing from their own language into English it seems to cause this for some reason.

I deleted my only watched item not in the UK and all the foreign language disappeared.

Go figure.

I haf ze answer, achtung!! 

(I'm from that slightly older generation of engineers that say things with bad German accents when explaining technical issues. I also happen to a little more than a smattering of German...)

I had kept ONE item in my Watch list from a German seller I have since developed a business relationship. I leave it in there in case I space out on his name.

On impulse, I opened that item and un-watched it. As soon as I did that, the German descriptions disappeared. One oddities: ONLY items from the category of Apple Laptops showed in German. The PC laptops were not but were from a different day of research.

When I put the same item back on Watch & refreshed my list, the Condition remained in English. I suggest anyone with this issue try temporarily remove items that originate from another country from their lists & then put them back on.

I have same problem.  Mine is German.  I have contacted ebay 9 times.  Nothing has changed.  Do you think this is where they bury us during our “unseen times”.  I asked the tech rep and got no answer.  I guess we are at their mercy. I have sales when watch list description is in English and then seem to shut down when in German.

I no longer use the watch list and am slowly deleting my items.  Dad always said “don’t like the rules then get out!”

My sold item count and 1 payment due are on my sales page on my Apple App in German for the first time ever today. I was worried my phone had been hacked? After I logged off then on again, back to English. Weird!
