If you cannot see your Watch List on either your laptop using a browser or your phone using the app that is not a good sign, assuming both are signed in to the correct account.
Here are some general tips related to missing watch list items:
Some Watch List issues can be solved by signing out of your account and then signing back in. If you have more than one account, make sure you are signed in to the correct account.
If you are having difficulty loading your Watch List page, try using your Summary page to see if those items appear there.
If you were recently deleting items from your Watch List, is it possible that you inadvertently checked the "select all" box at the top of the page and deleted all of your items? If so, you may be able to recover some of the latest items by checking your "Recently viewed" list:

If you have access to the same browser you originally used for searching you may be able to recreate some of your most recent searches, and find some of your watched items that way. See here for some techniques to try to recreate your searches:

If by chance you had an open tab with your watch list previously loaded on another computer which has not been refreshed since you lost your watch list, you might be able to use that to open individual items in other tabs and add them back to your watch list, but you will not be able to change the page number and care must be taken not to refresh the list page lest it reload the empty list.
