Watch List is now too wide for one screen

About 48 hours ago, my 'Watch List' suddenly became 3 or 4 times the width of my wide screen monitor.
The left hand side shows the usual photo of the item and then the description, price, time ends, and seller.
But in order to view the 'Bid' or 'Buy It Now', or 'View Seller's Other Items' Blue Boxes on the right hand side, I have to horizontally scroll a huge distance...!
It's almost as if the width of the page is being dictated by the number of different 'Category' grey oval 'balloons' at the top of the Watch List; the more categories there are, the wider the page becomes...!

All of the other pages (e.g. Summary, Saved Searches, etc) aren't affected by this new 'formatting'.
Anyone else having this issue?

My Watch List has not changed on either ebay.com or ebay.co.uk.

Try another browser -- if the page loads normally there, go back to your original browser and try deleting your browser cache and eBay cookies.

You are currently on the US ebay.com site.

I have seen several reports of users in the UK saying that they are being redirected to the US site when selecting categories to search on the main ebay.co.uk page. I am unable to recreate the issue from my end, though.

If possible, try erasing your ebay.com browser cookies -- that way if you are redirected again, you will be forced to sign in, making more likely you will notice.

Sign back in to the UK site here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/

Keep an eye out for any error pages as you are browsing. I suspect that a broken link on ebay.co.uk is sending users to a "We've looked everywhere" error page on the US site; once you see that error message, you are already on the US site, so any links you follow from that page will be US links.

Starting from ebay.co.uk, try searching in different way: instead of choosing categories, try entering search terms and searching "All categories", and then change the category on the results page to complete the search, or else try searching from the UK Advanced Search page instead. It may be that only category links on the main ebay.co.uk page are broken, but I am not certain.

If you are using Waterfox and your Watch List is too wide, see here:

What browser are you using, and what version number?

What other browsers have you tried?

If the problem is with your Watch List page not displaying correctly, your Summary page should still display correctly, I think, as there are no categories displayed there.

Have you tried adding that custom rule to Ad Block Plus?

I am also having this problem on a 20" widescreen monitor, I use Firefox on a Windows 10. The watch list is virtually useless this way, can't do anything without major scrolling, back and forth.

Has there been a fix for this that anybody knows about.

I saw this issue in another thread, except it was for the active listings page. I don't know if it will work here, but they used ctrl/alt/del to close the browser entirely and the page had fixed itself when they opened it again.

Watch List is now too wide for one screen

Thanks Popblox, I appreciate the reply, I am on a desktop so ctrl/alt/del won't close Firefox directly. But closing and restarting Firefox does no good, this has been going on for a very long time. As someone else said the screen is as wide as all the sub categories in the watch list, in what should be a scrolling bar. And in my case it is literally over 5 screens wide to get to the far right.

You would think Ebay would have fixed it by now, but of course I know better than that.

I guess after 20+ years on Ebay I get used to working around the countless bugs I have run into on the site

What version of Firefox are you using? It is possible that updating to a newer version of Firefox may fix the issue for you. I do not see the problem when using Firefox 91.

If not, using the Summary page to view your Watch List may serve as a workaround. That will not help with other custom lists, though.

Otherwise try installing the Ad Block Plus browser plug-in and then adding the custom filter rule shown here:
