WHERE HAVE ALL MY LISTS GONE?

Seems ebay have killed the "my ebay lists - all lists" page for good.

If you don't know what that is, it's the page at the (former) address:

https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextListIndex

If you click on it now it will re-direct you to:

https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/WatchList

which is just your (default) "watch list" watch list. You then need to select the individual watch list you want to see.

Oh, and it seem the maximum number of watch list items per list has gone down from 200 to just 100? 

All in all it seems like they're saving on their bills and infrastructure running costs? Or maybe the number of users has grown so much, their system cannot cope with all of them using huge lists? Frankly I don't get it - it doesn't put any more strain on a system than any regular search would.

Any ideas as to why they might have done this? and, is it permanent?

If it is, it's very disappointing. Frankly, you don't mess with something that works and they seem to have been doing this a lot lately: changing things that worked fine (or totally axing them in this case) by removing or altering features and not adding new much needed features that would improve user experience...

I'm seeing something similar on the "purchases" menu option on the iphone app. It's just giving shipping info now.

It appears that eBay has finally completely removed the All Lists page, approximately two and a half years after removing all the links to that page from the site. Prior to that the page had not been updated for quite a while -- there was still a banner advertising "Collections" prominently located on that page.

I suspected this removal might happen when the All Lists page began having problems deleting items a couple of months ago and users starting complaining to eBay that the page was not working correctly. Rather than attempt to fix a legacy page, eBay appears to have chosen to remove the page entirely, or at least redirect the link to the Watch List. The "All Buying" page also no longer works, and many of my old "Beta" page links -- alternative links for such things as Saved Searches and Saved Sellers -- now either no longer work or redirect to newer versions of the page.

You can still reach your individual lists by going through your Watch List page and using the "Watchlist" drop-down menu to open each of those lists, you just cannot see them all at once. Bookmarking individual lists may make it easier to get to a list without having to go through the Watch List page first.

Not having an "All Lists" page is a problem for many users, though. And it likely would have been a handy alternative link to reach list items yesterday when the Watch List page was not loading correctly and items on other custom lists were utterly unreachable for about four hours until the Watch List was fixed.

I am currently reorganizing my lists so that all the auctions I am following are on my Watch List, and all Buy It Now items are on other lists. That way I can most easily keep track of auctions and sort them by ending soonest.

The Watch List previously was able to hold 300 items at once; at one point recently I had as many as 307 items on my Watch List, so the limit may have changed. More recently I have noticed when trying to add an item to a list that the Watch List option often indicates that the Watch List is full, despite having much less than 300 or even 200 items. I suspect this is a bug, as items can often still be added to the Watch List using other means, such as directly from search results, without encountering an error.
