I so agree! They are so “buyer protected” now that sellers really have no choices in our listings. I put “no offers” yet I still keep getting these rediculous offers that done even cover shipping on a free shipping item. Pretty soon eBay will tell us what price we can put. Someone needs to create a new platform that’s like the old eBay 10 years ago.

Was showing a few views, but today there are NO views or watchers showing, just dashes.  Ebay is aware of this as I was told last Friday(06/29/18)..they are working on it.  Not very quickly evidently.  For most sellers we rely on this info so it would be nice if Ebay would step up the pace.

It's not only the "Views" counter that I've noticed is broken, but my current listing only shows up sporadically when I do a title keyword search.   I can get my "Views" counter to populate when I repeatedly refresh the page, every 4th or 5th time I refresh, the "Views" counter populates, all other times it shows "--".    When I press the Search button repeatedly on the same search keywords, my results come back different every time.  One time it said "3 results" but only showed 2 items.  This has the appearance of bad/stale cache in their server farm, but clearly they are having a pretty big data corruption problem.  I don't mean corrupted data on the back end in their databases necessarily, but corrupted as interpreted by their application/web server farms.

I called today and they are still working on it. I explained that I use the views to gauge whether or not my listings are effective. I’ve had no views for several weeks. The customer service rep was apologetic but had no hope for any solution any time soon. This is an online platform how can they be working on something for several weeks and not be able to fix it?????

Same here. Zero views or a few on some of my listings and it has been like this for over a week now. So frustrating.

Agreed.

And after that, they will tell us the only things we'll be allowed to sell.

I think the "Dear Seller" emails I keep getting, telling me what products I should list in order to have lots of sales, is just softening us up for a future mandate of what items can be listed.

Same thing happens to me when I am on my laptop but eventually I can see the views after I click 4 or 5 times. However, the number of views don’t show at all on my iPhone eBay app. So frustrating!
