I'd like to talk about VPNs and logging in on ebay. For a few years I have been using a VPN so that my IP is masked by anyone trying to trace activity or locations. I am speaking of my laptop but I also use one on my cell phone as well.
Problems occur when you sign in to ebay when using your vpn. Ebay sends a message that unknown activity has been detected and a archaic location of where the ip is located. For those who do not know, the "ip" is internet protocol, it is you and where you are. Your provider gives you one but the vpn masks it and connects you to servers all over the US and the world for that matter. You tell your vpn where you want to connect. Most of us connect in the good old USA.
Has anyone experience any difficulty with using a vpn? A vpn especially raise issues when you are utilizing a password managment program because it frequently asks you to re log in.
