I generally use VPN services while buying stuff online, while doing so on ebay they asked me to replace my password twice on the same day, and now my account is partially blocked, I cannot contact sellers to ask questions regarding my on going order, which I had one currently being cancelled. Does I would like to know if anyone in this forum could help me unflag my account.
I have tried to contact ebay to inform them that I am not being hacked and that all the login activity in other countries has been me while using a vpn. However, when I entered the page to "speak with an Account Security Representative" they did not have the country I am calling from (The Netherlands).
I have called the American phone number +1 866-961-9253 but as soon as I get transferred to a person the call drops. The second time I reach out a recording answers stating that they are doing maintenance on their system and to reach out via ebay.com/help or to try again later.
Since my account has been flagged due to fraudulent activity I cannot use the online chat from the support team. So I just called the number some hours later, which led to the same situation: robot answers -> get transferred to a person -> call drops immediately -> call again the number -> robot answer saying that system is under maintenance.
By now it seems clear that the system is not under maintenance, I am simply just getting temporarily blacklisted. Since I am running out of ways to fix my problem I decided to reach the community through this forum.
Any help to help me unflag my account would be very much appreciated.
